Got Gas??

Have you ever wondered what those guys were doing on the dive boat huddled up around someone's tank with some kind of computer contraption connected to it?  Did you notice they were using tanks that looked different than everyone else's? And how in the world were they able to stay down for almost an hour while you had to come up 30 minutes, even if you had half a tank of air left? I'll tell you how - they were diving Enriched Air Nitrox.  Nitrox is simply a higher concentration of oxygen in your dive tank which allows you to not only stay down longer, but you can have shorter surface intervals between dives.  If you like diving from live-aboards, then this is a no brainer for you.  With a concentration of up to 40% oxygen, it will take you longer to absorb the same amount of nitrogen if you were diving air.  So - presto - you can stay down longer! Getting certified to dive Enriched Air takes an evening....and you can do it online!  Go to my website - www.adventurescubaonline.com/training-programs  to find out how.
Next visit I will show you some cool pictures from my last dive trip....
Cheers,
Richard
